Donations We Can And Cannot Accept

Your Donations Make A Difference

We will gladly accept your donations of gently used clothing and household items. We have a saying here at Goodwill, "Thanks for giving Goodwill only what you'd give a good friend."

Items We Will Gladly Accept:

• Clothing
• Most furniture
• Lamps
• Kitchen utensils
• Books
• Televisions (no Consoles) $10.00
• Furniture: upholstered couches, overstuffed chairs, recliners $10.00 per item 
• Computers (nominal fee see computer re-cycling)

Year after year, Goodwill counts on your generous donations to help people achieve independence and self-sufficiency through employment and related services. However, certain donated items prove to be an added cost to our operations. They're too costly to handle and repair or simply won't sell in our retail stores. Unfortunately, Goodwill ends up having to dispose of these items, using money that could be better spent on meeting our mission.

Items We Can NOT Take:

• Any clothing that is ripped, stained, missing buttons and snaps
• Air conditioners
• Automobile parts
• Baby furniture
• Box spring or mattress
• Carpeting
• Clothes hangers
• Desks (Heavy metal ones, wood is fine)
• Exercise equipment
• Firearms
• Furniture needing cleaning
• Head and foot boards
• Lawn mowers
• Lumber
• Magazines
• Major appliances
• Microwaves
• Pianos and organs
• Scooters
• Sofa beds
• Stereos (consoles)
• Swing sets
• Tires
• TV
• Hospital beds
• Wall heaters
• Windows, screens and doors
